| ABSTRACT: | This paper was presented at Jordan’s National Water Symposium of (19-22) March 1978 in Amman. The paper presents background information and data about the water resources and water demand in Jordan. It discusses the available strategies and policies in 1978 and suggests plans and development priorities for Jordan taking into consideration the importance of monitoring pollution of water resources and recycling of used water to compensate for the imbalance in the supply-demand situation in Jordan. |
