| ABSTRACT: | This project involved the building of a dam on the Yarmouk River at Maqarin and a sprinkler irrigation system for a net area of 25,353 hectares. The construction of the Maqarin Dam would regulate the water of the Yarmouk River and thereby provide nearly 60% of the total surface water resources of the country. |
