| ABSTRACT: | This study was funded by the United Nations Development Program for the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The study investigated the thickness and extent of the Disi Sandstone aquifer, groundwater storage, static water levels, groundwater flow and the groundwater recharge. It also investigated the effect of abstractions on water levels and on groundwater reserves. Analysis of the chemical quality of the Disi groundwater was also included, as well as delineation of the areas of potential new well fields. |
