| ABSTRACT: | This report summarizes the hydrogeology of the project area based mainly on data from the well - drilling and considers the likely effects on the Azraq aquifer of major abstractions north of the pools. Recommendations were made for starting up procedures and for long term operation and a monitoring program was proposed which would provide information for an understanding of the aquifer behavior and also an early warning of likely saline contamination. |
